The World Wide Web Publishing service (WWW service) encountered an error and is stopping.
This error can be caused by one of the following:
The WWW service is out of memory.
The WWW service failed to read the IIS metabase.
The WWW service failed to configure the kernel-mode driver, HTTP.sys.
To resolve this issue execute the following steps:
Use Task Manager to check the available memory on the server. If the server is using 85% or more of the available memory, reboot the server.
If the error persists, use the Services snap-in in Microsoft Management Console (MMC) to restart the WWW service and the HTTP service.
If the error persists, contact Microsoft Product Support Services.
