Causes

The URL prefix for the site cannot be registered as the necessary network binding may already be in use.

Resolutions

To resolve this issue execute the following steps:

Check URL’s that are currently registered or reserved in HTTP.SYS for conflicts with this site’s Server Binding.

Alternatively, stop and restart HTTP to clear all registered URL’s.

Once the issue is resolved restart the Web site using the Start Web Site task:
