In a one-hour interval, more than 4,000 PSP PXE Requests were processed.
When a device PXE boots and discovers a PXE server, it sends the PXE server a DHCP request. The request asks for information about what action to perform (boot from the network or terminate). This counter indicates how many times the PXE server received a DHCP request. When a device PXE boots and selects a PXE server, it might send multiple DHCP requests until an answer is received.
This condition could occur because:
Too many devices are PXE booting.
A rogue PXE client is on the network.
Boot images are missing on the PXE server.
The PXE server is not configured correctly.
Determine whether there are too many devices PXE booting.
Ensure that there is no rogue PXE client on the network.
Ensure that boot images are available on the PXE server.
Ensure that the PXE server is configured correctly
