Summary

The Configuration Manager Site Component Manager service has stopped. Configuration Manager requires this service to record and access necessary data. This condition does not repair itself and must be resolved before Configuration Manager can resume some of its core functions.

Causes

This condition could occur because:

  • The computer is shut down or is restarted.

  • Configuration Manager is being upgraded with Configuration Manager hotfixes or Configuration Manager service packs.

  • The site server is backed up.

  • The Site Component Manager service is manually shut down.

Resolutions
This unit monitor does not contain any resolutions.
