Summary

AD Client Connectivity monitor. This monitor takes the list of domain controllers that is generated by the AD Client Update DCs rule and performs a series of tests to ensure that a domain controller is available to the client

Tests include the following:

  • Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP) ping

  • NET USE to SYSVOL

  • Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) ping

  • LDAP bind

  • LDAP search
