Summary

Windows cannot perform filter check for the specified Group Policy object. The WMI service is currently disabled. This Group Policy Object will be skipped.

Sample Event:

Windows cannot perform filter check for Group Policy object %1. The WMI service is currently disabled. This Group Policy Object will be skipped.
Causes

This error occurs because the Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) service is currently disabled. It will continue to occur until WMI is enabled. If WMI is disabled on a domain controller, this error occurs every five minutes.
Resolutions

Enable the WMI service.
