Summary

This monitor tracks the events that are logged by the HPC Job Scheduler Service. If there has been at least one error or warning event in the past day, this monitor will enter the warning health state. HPC Job Scheduler Service events can be tracked using the Event Viewer, under Applications and Services Logs, in the Windows HPC Server log, with the Microsoft-HPC-Scheduler event source.

Causes

This warning is caused by a HPC Job Scheduler Service error or warning event from the past 24 hours.

Resolutions

To troubleshoot and fix this problem:

  • Click on the State Change Events tab.

  • Check the description field in the Details pane for an event description.
