This monitor checks the Disk % Free Space of all logical disks. If you receive an alert from this monitor, action may be required in order to free up some disk space and bring the system back to an operational state.
An unhealthy state indicates that the % Free Space is currently low. This may be caused by excessive logging by an application.
View the disk capacity from the Operations Manager console. Determine if any new applications have been recently installed. Review any log files for logs that appear to be excessively large. If so, determine if the logs are current or historical logs.
To remedy the situation, consider using the tar utility to compress (zip) the log files and free up disk space. To create a tar file use the command 'tar -cvf [destination filename].tar [source path/file]'.
