Summary

This monitor detects when the Management Configuration service has problems connecting to the Operational Database that continually happen for some period of time. The default configuration of this monitor is listed in the Configuration Section.

Causes

This is usually caused by some problem with network connectivity or database integrity problem.

Resolutions

Check connectivity from the Root Management Server to the Operational Database server. Note that you need to monitor the ongoing network connectivity since intermittent network problems may hide the problem.

If you are still getting a critical state and Health Services in your OpsMgr infrastructure are not getting updated Management Packs or configuration, please contact Customer Support Services (CSS) with the name of this rule and information from the context of the state change event.
