Summary

This monitor and alert indicates that the Health Service has downloaded a new action account with an invalid type.

Below is a summary of the default configuration of this monitor:

  • Red state: Transition to red state if the health service receives a new action account with an invalid type (7010)

  • Green state: Transition to green state if the health service processed all security configuration successfully (7023).

Causes

The red state can indicate the following may be happening on the agent:

The Health Service has downloaded new configuration for a management group, and that configuration has specified a new action account, but the account is not of type 'Action Account' or 'Windows Credential'. The new action account has been ignored by the health service as it would significantly impact monitoring.

Resolutions

You can use the below steps to resolve the issue:

Fix the Action Account RunAs Profile by associating only accounts of type Action Account or Windows Credential.
